There are few things I enjoy more than my morning journal routine. As soon as I wake up and see my journal waiting for me on my coffee table I feel a spark to start my slow morning. Over the years, it has truly become a staple in my life, and has helped me immensely when I was navigating some tough times.

What is Daily Journaling

In this blog post I refer to journaling as: the practice of writing whatever comes to mind without restrictions. This is also known as “stream of consciousness-writing” which implies you write down whatever enters your conscious mind. 

You simply write whatever you feel like writing about. 

Be it what’s bothering or excites you, be it what you want to eat for dinner, be it what you need to do today, be it what set you off yesterday, the things you just can’t let go of, or the dreams you can no longer ignore. It can be whatever is occupying your mind that day.

For my daily journal practice, I simply use a pen and a notebook. For 3 years now, I have been using my beloved Fringe Studio journals. Ever since I found these journals, I have been using them daily for my practice.
